Pistol 1, Foundation Course, FIRE:

This course was developed as the entry level FIRE skills for the F4 modality of survivability.  The purpose of this course is to provide familiarization of safety, weapons handling and target engagement for novice and experienced pistol shooters alike.  Content covered is the following:

1. Firearm Safety
2. Anatomy of a Pistol
3. Handling Fundamentals
4. 3 Ds as they relate to Pistol
5. Target Engagement & Withdrawal

GOAL: Build familiarity with Pistol firearms, their safe handling and basic employment.
